Orders – Please place orders for large cakes at least two weeks in advance, and orders for everything else at least three days in advance.
You can choose to pay the whole amount upfront, or choose to pay a 40% deposit. A deposit reserves your date and is non-refundable. In the event of an emergency, your deposit may be used for a one-time transfer for your rescheduled date. If you need to reschedule, I must be notified at least one week in advance for large cakes and at least two days in advance for all other products; otherwise, the deposit transfer is forfeited. If I must cancel, deposits and other payments will be fully refunded. Final payment is due the day before pickup unless paying in cash.
Order Changes – If you need to make a change to your order, please contact me at least 48 hours before your order is due to be ready. Changes may not be possible.
Sales Tax – 4% tax will be collected on orders in Livingston Parish. Tax will not be collected for out of state shipped orders.
Refunds and Exchanges – If there is a problem with your order, contact me within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Refunds will be available in the event of an error on my part, but returns/exchanges are not possible since these are food items.
Order Cancellations or Changes – If you need to make a change to your order, please contact me at least 48 hours before your order is due to be ready. Changes may not be possible.
On Receipt – Once the order leaves my possession, I am no longer responsible for any damage that may occur, including damage during transport. For best results, transport cakes on a flat surface in an air conditioned vehicle. Please keep cakes refrigerated until about an hour before needed. Cakes displayed outdoors may soften or melt in sunlight and/or heat. For cake damage incurred after receipt, I may be able to fix it for you for a small fee depending on the severity of the damage.
Cakes may contain non-edible support materials. Please remove these before serving.
Delivery – I can meet you with your order between Hammond and Livingston, or in Springfield, Colyell, or Manchac.
Shipping
Shipping Methods – Please place orders for pickup and shipping separately. Currently, only domestic shipping within the US is available.
Only cinnamon rolls and king cakes ship as of right now. There is an estimated 2 day lead time before I can ship orders.
For anything that contains cream cheese, custards, or fillings, you MUST choose a next day air option.
Delivery Day Options: Tuesday-Friday
Multiple Locations – Please place separate orders for if shipping to multiple locations, or if you need different delivery dates. Make sure to let the recipient to be on the lookout for the shipment.
Delivery Attempts – If a delivery attempt has already been made and there are any subsequent delays in arranging a second delivery attempt or organizing a pickup, please note that these delays are not eligible for coverage.
Damage and Delays – If there are any issues with preparing your order in time for delivery, we may have to ship it on the next available shipping day. If your order is damaged or greatly delayed in transit, please let us know as soon as you can and within two days of receipt. Please keep the box and all of its contents in the event that USPS or UPS needs to do an inspection of the damaged package, and then you will receive a refund.
