I've made two updates to my king cakes.One is that the large king cake now comes in a box instead of the aluminum pan. When I started, the dough was a little less workable so the aluminum pan was the only way I could get it to turn out. But with my recipe updates, I can put it in a box and make it look nicer.The second update is that I'm trying a new shape for the small. Instead of a 6x9 it's an 8" circle. Same amount of dough, just a different shape. 7x10 boxes and boards are apparently really hard to find so we're gonna try out the circle shape like the mini.Let me know what y'all think about the changes! I am open to feedback!TLDR: Large king cakes are in boxes instead of aluminum pans. Small king cakes are round now. Please send feedback on changesThank y'all so much!

Here are the current upcoming events for Gator Bites Bakery!I'll be in New Orleans twice this king cake season at Port Orleans Brewing Co. Orders can be placed ahead of time to be picked up.I'll be in Thibodaux for the Louisiana King Cake Festival on January 31st! Last year was a lot of fun and it seems to be growing every year. I was not the only gluten free vendor! I'll link to the king cake fest page in the comments for more info.Pickup on the 22nd and 5th will either be near Springfield in the morning before 11 or in New Orleans between 5 and 9. Pickup on the 31st will ONLY be in Thibodaux. Get your orders in for those dates soon. This is a short king cake season so it's gonna fly by!
